What’s on tap for April?

Finding Help with Windows

Tuesday, April 9 at 7 P.M.

There are an estimated 7,000 different settings in Windows 11. These are spread across several hundred screens and the Windows registry. Where can you turn when you have a problem and/or are trying to figure things out? Search engines like Google, or Bing link to tens of thousands of sites all claiming to offer expert advice, but which of these can you trust?

Interim SIG leader,Paul Stackhouse will present some common Windows problems and offer frameworks CKCS members can use to find accurate and reliable help. He will also describe sites and sources to avoid. The goal of the meeting is to help members to

both become self-sufficient and give recommendations of where to turn when the problem isn’t easily resolved.

The SIG starts at 7pm and will be jointly held in person at the CKCS Resource Center and online via Zoom.

at CKCS at 160 Moore Drive, Suite 107, Lexington
