June is World Elder Abuse Awareness Month, and we’re marking it with an important and timely session at the CKCS Café on ZoomBen Cowgill will present “Imposter Scams Aimed at Seniors,” highlighting many of today’s most common and convincing fraud tactics.

Understanding how scammers operate is one of the strongest defenses older adults can have. People over 65 are frequently targeted because they often have established financial accounts, steady income, and a trusting communication style. Scammers also know that older adults are less likely to monitor credit activity regularly—factors that contribute to their high success rate.

This session will help you recognize red flags, stay alert, and protect yourself and those you care about.
